Command Code Model Switch
Agent that learns your coding taste, with model switching built in
CALCULATING...
Command Code is a terminal coding agent focused on open models and per-project 'taste' learning. It exposes every supported model through one CLI, with per-model credit allowances and zero-markup pay-as-you-go top-ups.
Switching Instructions & Commands
Step 1
Install the CLI
npm i -g command-code@latest
Requires Node.js 22 or newer. The binary is available as both `command-code` and `cmd`.
Step 2
Log in and trust the project
cmd login && cd your-project && cmd --trust
The first run in a project asks whether you trust the folder; --trust skips the prompt.
Step 3
Switch model for one session
cmd -m deepseek-v4.1-flash
Run `cmd --list-models` to see the live model catalog. Inside the TUI, use /model.
Step 4
Check your allowance
cmd status
Shows plan, credit balance and the rolling 5-hour and weekly limits.
DeepSeek Peak Pricing Impact on Command Code
Command Code passes DeepSeek API pricing through at cost. V4.1 Flash is $0.15/M input and $0.60/M output off-peak, doubling to $0.30/M and $1.20/M during the two weekday peak windows. Because the CLI sends repository context on every tool turn, the off-peak discount matters most for long refactors.
